Good to finally get the lowdown on CAA :-)

I think OSGEO might be a nice place to start a discussion about FOSS GIS for archaeologists- possibly somewhere to document the sometimes overwhelming selection of progs. It would be nice to refine the options down to a set that work well together, and as you say pop it all on a USB stick. Count me in!
